Condensate Treatment

Oil and water separators for your compressed air

Condensate Treatment foto 1

Part description

What is condensate treatment?

Condensate treatment is the process of treating the water that results from the condensation of vapor or gas to make it suitable for reuse or safe disposal. When compressing air or gas, moisture can form, which must be removed from the system to prevent damage. This is done using drains that remove the moisture. The collected water may contain a high concentration of oil, so an oil/water separator is used. This separates water with a purity of up to 99.9% from impurities. The separated oil is collected, and the separated water can be flushed into the sewer system. This prevents environmental damage.

Types of oil and water separators

As a Compressed Air & Gas Treatment distributor for Parker, we supply various moisture separators from the Parker Hiross brand. We are happy to advise you on the most suitable separator, as we offer different oil-water separators, oil separators, and water separators specifically for your process.

Applications of condensate treatment

Compressors generate condensate with every compression. This condensate contains moisture and oil. Due to environmental reasons, condensate with a certain amount of oil cannot be discharged into the sewer. Condensate treatment is used in many different market segments, including:

  • Food industry
  • Pharmaceutical industry
  • Chemical industry
